If you control space you can by using sensing technology determine what launches are occurring of any missile or aircraft and destroy satillites on orbit as required. If you have weapons on orbit you can destroy any incoming strikes. Since china will eventually control earth orbit and the moon, mars ,etc, the USA will be under the control of china. When this occurrs your daily lives and activities will be controlled by china.
Most Americans don't believe this could happen in America, but it can, with the present leadership we are headed in that direction..
Look at space, defense, debt, etc., we are headed down that road.
It will take many years for this to occur, but Americans lives will be changed totally. The gun laws will be changed, use of Internet will be controlled, size of families will be controlled, medical procedures and medicine will be controlled, property rights will be controlled and so on.
We are at a critical junction, this great nation has the capability to maintain space
supremacy , we have the vehicle and it can be improved, the shuttle. The shuttle is the best concept, since you can do work in earth orbit and explore from there. A great disservice to this country was done by those who misrepresented shuttle safety in the ASAP , CAIB , and present NASA management. They, through their actions placed a perfectly safe vehicle in the junk pile which costs taxpayers 100's of billions. With proper NASA leadership this could have been avoided. A vehicle the USA needs desperately. With your support, this can and must be reversed.
Go ahead and continue to ignore this situation, Americans, you will pay dearly for lack of attention to this critical area.
