Admirals and generals, people who have dedicated their careers to defending the USA strangely will not support the shuttle or the shuttle concept at a time when this country needs a strong space capability. Head of NASA and ASAP/CAIB chairs have gone out of the way to scuttle the shuttle. Hundreds of our brightest people have recommended the shuttle extension, but to no avail. This strongly suggests a conspiracy to destroy the US's space capability. Certainly if we had strong leadership in the White House, proper decisions would be made.
I urge you to read and get all your friends to read The Case to Save the Shuttle. Try to get local media to air this paper.
The country desperately needs the shuttle capability. Failure to return shuttle to flight will have dire consequences to the USA. Very strange the Admirals and General apparently desire to reduce the USA space capability.
