The media is not saying much about this, but it looks like it is getting
bad. Dennis, who I work with at SAIC, several months ago checked some
Japanese candy and even though it was below a max FDA limit it was reading
very high compared to local food.

I hope to make some time to finish building and calibrating my own
monitoring station. I have some probes to detect alpha, beta, and gamma
radiation as well as some very sensitive scintillation probes for detecting
minute traces of gamma radiation.
