December 23 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome hosted export booster (RN) "Proton-M" with the upper stage (RB) "Breeze-M" and spacecraft (SC) "Express-AM5" to launch complex 81 site.

 

Transportation decision was taken during a meeting of technical guidance and the State Commission held the day before.

 

In accordance with the schedule of training at 6:27 MSK launch vehicle was delivered to the launch pad, Baikonur and experts have begun to install it in the starter and work on schedule the first launch day.

 

Space rocket "Proton-M" with the upper stage "Breeze-M" and the Russian telecommunications spacecraft "Express-AM5" is scheduled for December 26.

 

"Express-AM5" established JSC "ISS" together with enterprises cooperation. It is designed to provide digital television and radio broadcasting in Russia, solving mobile presidential and governmental communications, multiservice networks (telephony, video conferencing, data transmission, Internet access), as well as the creation of communication networks based on technologies VSAT. On board the "Express-AM5" transponders installed C-, Ku-, Ka-and L-band. Active lifetime warranty spacecraft will be 15 years, the power allocated to the payload - not less than 14 kW. SC mass - 3400 kg. The module of the service systems used in developed JSC "ISS" unified satellite platform "Express 2000".
