Also, The Case to Save the Shuttle by the shuttle advocates team, on nova, covers why the USA must maintain shuttle capabilities. No usa manned activity since 2011. Not likely with cots for 4 to 5 more years & not even close to equivalent to shuttle. In the meantime our expertise down the tube & our workforce is suffering. Additionally, we pay Russia for rides & buy rocket engines from them--- we should be building them
