Состоялась встреча глав космических агентств стран, принимающих участие в программе МКС

4 ноября 2014 г. в Париже (Франция) состоялась встреча глав космических агентств стран, принимающих участие в программе МКС. В ходе встречи партнеры по программе МКС подтвердили, что станция имеет потенциал для использования отработки технологий в целях пилотируемого исследования дальнего космоса, и отметили ее технические, научные и экспериментальные возможности. Согласились, что сотрудничество по программе МКС и в дальнейшем будет способствовать использованию станции на благо всего человечества.

По итогам встречи участниками было принято Совместное заявление, в котором отражено стремление партнёров к продолжению сотрудничества по программе МКС как минимум до 2020 года, а  также признали наличие заинтересованности в ее дальнейшей эксплуатации для обеспечения преемственности при формировании новых программ исследования космоса.

Кроме того, во время встречи глав агентств руководитель Роскосмоса О.Н.Остапенко провел двусторонние переговоры с администратором НАСА Ч.Болденом, генеральным директором ЕКА Ж.-Ж.Дорденом, президентом КНЕС Ж.-И.Ле Галлем и президентом ДЖАКСА Н.Окумурой. В ходе встреч стороны обсудили вопросы двустороннего сотрудничества в области космоса, а также наметили дальнейшие шаги по развитию и углублению взаимодействия по перспективным направлениям совместной деятельности.

November 4, 2014 in Paris (France) , a meeting of heads of space agencies of the countries participating in the ISS program. During the meeting the partners in the ISS program have confirmed that the station has the potential to use mining technologies for manned deep space exploration, and noted its technical, scientific and experimental possibilities. Agreed that cooperation on the ISS program will continue to promote the use of the station for the benefit of all mankind.

Following the meeting, the participants adopted a joint statement, which reflects the desire of the partners to continue cooperation on the ISS until at least 2020, and also recognized the interest in its further operation to ensure continuity in the formation of new programs of space exploration.

In addition, during a meeting of heads of agencies Roscosmos O.N.Ostapenko held bilateral talks with NASA Administrator Ch.Boldenom, ESA director general Jean-Zh.Dordenom, CNES President Jean-I.Le Gallo and President JAXA N.Okumuroy . During the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of space and outlined further steps to develop and deepen cooperation in promising areas of joint activity.

MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. Heads of space agencies of the International Space Station (ISS) member-countries confirmed that the ISS would operate at least till 2020, Russia's Space Agency (Roscosmos) press service told TASS on Wednesday.

They also showed interest in its further use, the Roscosmos press service said.

"During the meeting, the ISS partners confirmed that the station has the potential to be used for further manned space exploration. They noted the technical, scientific and experimental capabilities of the ISS. They agreed that cooperation within the ISS will facilitate its further operation for the sake of mankind," the press service said.

Earlier, Roscosmos' deputy head Denis Lyskov told TASS that the extension of the ISS operation for the period after 2020 depends on Russia's space program.

However, he added that no task has been set to stop the ISS operation in 2020.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said earlier that Russia sees no commercial sense in taking part in the ISS project after 2020, because the station consumes more than 30% of Roscosmos budget.

Meanwhile, NASA hopes to continue cooperation till 2024, though no official proposal has been sent to the Russian side.
