Liz Warren x35548 [top] Building 45 Power Outage Starts Nov. 20 Starting 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, an electrical outage of Building 45 will begin. The outage is scheduled through Monday, Nov. 24. However, we hope to have power restored late Sunday evening. Please check the JSCSOS website on Sunday evening after 7 p.m. for information on the status of the outage. If power is not restored Sunday evening, Building 45 employees are encouraged to telework from home or at one of the designated telework buildings—Buildings 56 and 57. The Information Resources Directorate will begin shutting down Internet connectivity at 5:30 p.m., and this will affect computers and phones. Transgender persons face disproportionate amounts of discrimination, including opportunities for employment and advancement. Many federal protections for LGB persons do not extend to transgender employees, despite transgender persons being the victims of more harassment and hate crimes than any other minority group.
