As Aldrin covered, why are we starting with a clean piece of paper on a new vehicle.
We have spent 30 years on developing & testing the shuttle. Like the article Engineering for Success and building on failure, as Aldrin indicated , we should learn from Russians, and improve the shuttle, and use it.
To get the shuttle restarted, we must get the public upset over the situation and the sheer stupidity of placing shuttle in a museum.
Each of you must convince a friend to support restart and to contact their reps in congress.
I know this seems like mission impossible, but failure is certain if we don't try.
