50 years ago, on 1 March 1966, the automatic interplanetary station "Venera-3" has reached the surface of Venus, having carried out the world's first flight to another planet.

After 13 years on 1 March 1982, on the surface of the planet made a soft landing automatic interplanetary station "Venera 13". The first color TV picture panorama of the planet has been transferred and conducted chemical analyzes of soil samples studied the cloud layer.
