Re commercial shuttle proposal by ula.Bobby Martin Yes, I was quite aware of the proposal by USA ---I discussed it with dan Brandenstein ( a ula manager). It blows my mind that we did not implement this proposal as it does with x37c Boeing proposal. Sadly, we have to face the fact that we are going to have to have a new leader of this country & a more conservative congress. In meantime we are decimating our military & space capabilities. Don't get why bolden goes along with this--- hard to believe he wants job that bad!- Bobby Martin The article by the general on the rocket engine illustrates how the USA is losing our design, manufacturing, test capabilities. This would apply also to many spacecraft systems. For instance look at the proposed shuttle upgrades when it was operational ---there was a large number of them-- it is on the Internet --- we are losing capabilities in most of these areas. When we gradually lose the talent in the workforce-----we lose our national security!
