Yesterday, we asked you to take to Twitter to make your voice heard that you will not accept amnesty for those entering our country illegally and I want to thank the thousands of you who answered the call. There is still much work to be done as we flood the social media world with the message that many Americans simply will not hear. The message is simple, "We are being overrun and the President is too busy playing golf to do anything about it".
Illegal immigrants are flooding over the border in numbers never seen before, including members of the notorious MS13 gang know to be one of the most violent groups in the world. They are so emboldened that they are openly recruiting new members in an Arizona immigrant processing center. In addition to violent criminals, many are bringing disease including a form of tuberculosis found in an illegal arrested in California yesterday that is resistant to all treatment.
The list goes on but this is a crisis that must be stopped. We know we cannot count on President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi to help so we are calling on you to turn the heat up on Washington DC.
The process is simple. Log on to Twitter and use the hash tag #SecureTheBorder and #tcot to your comments. We are starting with Twitter but will expand this effort into other forms of social media since this is how we connect with many of the low information voters who are not paying attention.
Here is what we need you to do NOW!
- Go to TheTeaParty.net's Twitter Page
- Hover over any tweet that has #SecureTheBorder in it and click the 'Retweet' button
- Tweet your own favorite anti-Obamacare quotes, pictures and articles using the hashtag #SecureTheBorder (FLOOD TWITTER)
- Tweet the following graphic created by our team here at the TheTeaParty.net
- Once you get the hang of it please feel free to tweet your own thoughts (No vulgarity) to our Senators and Representatives

I know some of you are hesitant to get involved on Twitter and, after this, you may not spend much time "Tweeting". The great thing is that you don't need to spend much time on Twitter and I cannot stress enough how important every voice that joins with us is going to be. This is about actually moving votes and we are going to need you to join us on Twitter right away!
We still need to continue to raise money as we put the final behind-the-scenes pieces together. Every tool we've built over the last five years is going to be utilized to its fullest extent as we battle Barack Obama and I'm extremely proud of both the plan our team has put together and the loyal support we have received. Fundraising has been the reason that we have the tools to launch such a remarkable plan and I am honored and humbled by the fact that I know I can count on your continued support!
