The Destruction of America's Space Program
We had all these capabilities and now they are in a museum. We spent hundreds of billions on the shuttle, ISS, Hubble, space suits, manned maneuvering unit, airlocks, robotic arm and ground facilities. Now ISS is in trouble,paying unsafe Soyus to get us back & forth to ISS.
Congress does not seem to give a damn about the space program or anything else for that matter.
News media, space writers don't seem concerned nor is local tv and radio. Talk show people don't give a hoot.
Also, we have put the highly talented team out of work at the worst possible time.
As a famous space program manager at a major aerospace company told me, it will take fear to get us moving again.
