Bobby, our research has shown that even if the money existed, they cannot restart the Space Shuttle program as it was. Our only hope now is a new rocket program. The equipment has been destroyed and the personnel have moved onto other jobs.

That is not correct. You better research that in more depth. The major hardware has not been destroyed. Suggest you get Don Nelson on your staff. He is in Alvin, Texas.. What hardware that has bee destroyed can be rebuilt for a lot less than a new program. The major part of the shuttle team can be reassembled. The reuseable SSME 's were planned for an expendable stage on SLS , they are in storage. The orbiters are in a museum. Since Wemust stay with shuttle concept, makes more sense to use orbiters even if we have to rebuild other equipment. You are compounding the problem by going off on new problem. You should know the amount of testing and correcting of design and mfg. problem that occur on new program.. Please call me at 5808913343.

It will take decades to regain what we have in the museum. As far as workforce goes, engineers will be needed for that too. Don't tell me we can't get the workforce reassembled. Lots of the people are unemployed looking for jobs.

The fastest way to get our capability back is to restart shuttle. Other approaches will take decades. With the shuttle concept you have multiple capabilities for Leo, and exploration of other destinations. Read Don Nelson's plan and letter to bolden--- nasaproblems.com. In the end, we must continue the shuttle concept. All these programs have along way to go before being operational - and they are the wrong concept. Meanwhile, shuttle in museum. Better talk to Romney and convince him to Restart Shuttle or it will be decades before we get back to where we were a year ago.
