I just saw an interview on Neil Cavuto's show with Gene Cernan, the commander of Apollo 17 and the last man to walk on the moon. Holy ___ can that man ever go off on a rant!
He went off on an absolute rant on Obama gutting the space program and the direction he is taking the country in. The man damn near broke down into tears, recovered and re-launched into his rant again. Surprising to see because I remember Cernan being a commentator for ABC in the early days of the shuttle program and he seemed so down to earth and level headed. The man has a lot of passion for space, aviation, research, education and inspiring kids to get interested. It's also clear that he absolutely disagrees with Obama on the direction the country is headed in. I'd love to see a debate between the 2 of them, it would be worth DVR'ing and watching over and over again.
