If you read The Case to save the shuttle by al Richardson and many other articles on Keeptheshuttleflying.com, I think one concludes that the USA should continue to fly shuttle.
You can do whatever you need to do in space with the shuttle as the backbone of the program.
As many experts have said, retirement of shuttle was a big mistake.
Please do an in depth report on the shuttle retirement. It is a terrible waste.
