People whine about the army needed to fly shuttle, well if we are going to continue our preeminence in space, we must fly the shuttle. Yes it is expensive but look at what it can do. Improvements over the years can be made, but it will take time. All this talk about commercial crew is a pipe dream, crew loss will occur do to inadequate attention to safety issues, this will set CC back for years-- may never fly and when it does, can't come close to shuttle capability---while we have the shuttle in the garage----really makes lots of sense.
Wake up America, they are destroying this country space team, energy capability, health care system, currency value to name a few among many areas under attack.
