Went Fishing ...Caught 4 Deer!What a wonderful story,hope you enjoy it...Went Fishing ...
Caught 4 DeerA once in thehistory of mankind kind of thing. The BestDay Of Fishing Ever! Some fishingstories are alittle hard to believe but this guy haspictures to prove his story... I've heardof salmon jumpinginto boats, but never anything quite likethis...Tom Satre told theSitka Gazette that he was out with a chartergroup on his 62-foot fishingvessel when fourjuvenile black-tailed deer swam directlytoward his boat."Once the deerreached the boat, the four began to circlethe boat, looking directly at us.We could tell rightaway that the young bucks were distressed.
I opened up my back gateand we helped thetypically skittish and absolutely wildanimals onto the boat. In all myyears fishing, I'venever seen anything quite like it! Once onboard, they collapsed withexhaustion, shivering.""This is a pictureI took of the rescued bucks on the back ofmy boat, the Alaska Quest. We headed for TakuHarbour.Once we reached the dock, thefirst buck that we had pulledfrom the waterhopped onto the dock, looked back as if tosay 'thank you' and disappearedinto the forest.
After a bit of prodding and assistance, twomore followed, but the smallestdeer needed alittle more help. This is me carryingthe little guy.My daughter, Anna, and son, Tim, helped the last buck to itsfeet. We didn't know howlong they had beenin the icy waters or if there had beenothers who did not survive.Mydaughter later toldme that the experience was something thatshe would never forget, and I suspect thedeer felt the same way as well!"I told you!
Awesome! Our Lord works inmysterious ways..."Kindness is
the language the blind can see and the
deaf can hear." - Mark Twain
