Bobby,
"I'm angry. I feel disappointed. I feel like we don't even matter."
Those are the heartbreaking words of an American hero, an Army medic shot seven times by the admitted terrorist Nidal Hasan.
Our government has denied the casualties of the Fort Hood attack the Purple Hearts they deserve, the symbol of blood spilled in defense of our nation.
Why?
Because the Obama Administration believes that giving proper recognition to casualties in war would unfairly prejudice the jury against Hasan.
This is sheer nonsense. Nidal Hasan has confessed his crimes and even calls himself a "Mujahideen." But our government labeled his murderous assault as "workplace violence" and refuses to this day to call it was it was – terrorism.
This is a betrayal – a betrayal of our soldiers and a betrayal of common sense. Let's protect and honor soldiers, not terrorists. Sign our letter.
Honor our Soldiers and Award Purple Hearts to American Heroes.
