Fluttery Obama

I like to think of President Obama as fluttery because he is much like a butterfly, attractive but unpredictable – even to himself. Like a butterfly, he alights wherever the immediate notion of the moment strikes him, with no thought of where he will head from there.
Fluttery is the word for his behavior, because he seems to fly around in all directions, changing his direction as often as does a butterfly and with no more predictably. Logical followup does not occur to him until he finds himself fenced in by previously un-thought out whimsical announcements.
He tells the world he will close the prison at Guantanamo Bay in a year without a clue as to how he will bring it about. A year later Gitmo is still in existence.
He announces a health care plan of socialized medicine and spends his first full year on office attempting unsuccessfully to get it passed as his own Democrats cannot agree among themselves.
Why? Because he realizes that in his own self-absorbed way that his Obamacrats had stumbled upon a plan that would give them total control ~ not just of health care, but of the total lives of all Americans . See “Obamicare = Poisoncare” on these pages.
With his ox in the ditch, he now desperately rolls out his reconciliation plan. Yes, the same reconciliation plan he had spoken against as a presidential candidate, requiring dramatic shrinking of his health care bill while at the same time angering American voters and turning them against him and his Democratic party. Why? Because the year spent on the unpopular health care effort with his huge devil-may-care monetary spending with the huge debt it has inflicted upon our children. Republican Senators Tom Coburn, and Judd Gregg agreed that ObamaCare would cost taxpayers at least Two and a Half Trillion Dollars – as did Democrat Senator Max Baucus – who voted Obama’s way in spite of the cost.
Estimated monetary cost of ObamaCare has not yet been experienced. But money already sucked out of our nation has cost the nation mightily in job loss. Why? Because Obama and the ObamaDems have failed to understand that the only way that government to help job creation is to get out of the way. It is the private sector that creates jobs, not government — unless one counts government jobs, fullof bureaucrats, and we have too many of those already. And at higher pay than in the private sector. You know what a bureaucrat is, don’t you? A bureaucrat is a government employee who always gets paid, whether he works or not.
Perhaps we are blessed to have them. Think of the damage that might be wrought if they actually accomplished anything!
Obama’s latest fluttery butterfly thought is the building of a high speed railroad system It will never happen. Why? Because we have in the U.S. thousands upon thousands of grade crossings, for which our trains are compelled to slow down.
Contrast this with Great Britain, where there are no grade crossings at all – only overpasses and underpasses. The express train from London to Edinburgh, a distance of 500 miles, takes exactly five hours, including two stops en route. That train cruises at 125 mph.
Obama is so self-centered that it never occurred that the facts were against him, just as they are in Obamacare. A minimum amount of research would have saved him embarrassment. Except that with his ego he is never embarrassed about anything.
He knows that the ObamaDems will continue to drink his Obama Kool Aide.
