Exomars 2016. COMPLETE ANALYSIS OF THE FIRST FLIGHT CALIBRATION SET ACS

Completed analysis of the first flight calibration of the spectrometer complex ACS on board the vehicle TGO joint mission of Roskosmos and the European Space Agency's ExoMars 2016 ( "exomars 2016"). The equipment works normally, confirmed full compliance with the declared characteristics.

In mid-April, it was held the first sessions of direct solar radiation observations and measurements with high spectral resolution of complex devices of ACS. The experimental data are confirmed by the optical characteristics of the devices near, middle and thermal ranges, made the first spectral and radiometric calibration, the directions of the fields of view of each of the channels. Get the source data to generate telecommand for the next calibration work sessions in July this year.

Upon completion of the work sessions the scientific equipment is translated into "sleep" mode until the next inspection, power is supplied only on migratory heaters.

Device ATSC / ACS (Atmospheric Chemistry Suite, «complex to study atmospheric chemistry") was established in the Space Research Institute (IKI) RAS. The complex includes three spectrometer to study the Martian atmosphere, the distribution therein of trace gases, aerosols, temperature and pressure profiles.
