The Need For American Preeminence in Space would seem obvious to most(including Congress people)

If one considers how and what systems the military has in earth orbit, one would think most would understand the importance of our space capability. If you consider the shuttle capability such as payload, Eva, rms, mmu , on orbit repair, return of payload to runway, and future automated operation, one would think that thinking Congress people believe this capability to be important since we spent 30 years & 100's of billions developing this capability.


Also, considering the fact that the USA must maintain military supremacy ---WHAT ARE THE CONGRESS PEOPLE Thinking on this subject OR Are they THINKING!!!

However, it appears that the majority in Congress don't even think at all about what we have and what we need to maintain our security.
