Non - Reuseable Capsules

The shuttle has tremendous capabilities that cannot easily be duplicated especially by a non-reusable capsule. I have seen some of the design for the "new" capsule - more like a glorified Gemini or Mercury. Payloads are much smaller and I doubt over time it will probably not be any cheaper to operate.
