The USA has a tremendous investment in earth orbit. We had with the shuttle the capability to bring systems to, remove them & return them to earth, repair systems on orbit. The shuttle was terminated for incorrect perceptions regarding safety , schedule, and cost. The USA for national security reasons must maintain this capability. I have the impression no one in congress nor Romney gives this situation a second thought. It is plainly obvious that we must return shuttle to operation for the security of the USA. John Sununu is the only one to utter anything about this situation.if we don't maintain national security, what else matters? Quite ironic, two words might win Florida for Mitt--- they are Restart Shuttle.
