Commercial Crew NOT Close to First Mercury Flight ---Dream on about Flexible Path, Cislunar, space tugs---Shuttle in museum

To be a little simple here it seems we have two parts of this puzzle, NASA and the folks who want to fly missions COTS then crew to the ISS. Other than COTS when you start talking about flying crews that's a whole new ballgame kids. The astronauts will have to be from NASA, the ISS is a NASA/IP vehicle and that requires many years of training and the "other" folks have no way of providing that level of ISS vehicle & systems training without NASA. Be it Ares, Soyuz or Shuttle NASA needs its own access to the ISS until the others can prove they can fly crew safe or at least as safe as NASA HAS done for 50 years. To all the commercial efforts you're not even close to matching NASA, matter of fact you have done a lot of nothing to date but talk. As of today you are not even close to the first Mercury flight.
Talk is really cheap and failure with a crew onboard is not an option. This is much more than just building a mockup capsule and putting it on your flavor of booster. Get real people.
