CAPE CANAVERAL – SpaceX attempt to launch its Falcon 9 rocket carrying a capsule to the International Space Station has failed.

The countdown went to zero and ignition was cut off. Liftoff did not occur and the rocket remained standing on the launch pad at Canaveral Air Force Station this morning

The countdown of the historic launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 with its Dragon capsule has passed the T-9 minute mark and all systems are go.

CAPE CANAVERAL — The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is fully fueled and all systems appear go — as does the weather — for a 4:55 a.m. launch from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

The two-stage Falcon 9 rocket is slated to carry the SpaceX Dragon capsule into orbit. If successful, Dragon will then chase and catch the International Space Station on Monday and possibly dock with it on Tuesday.
