Astrophysicist Tyson says we get return on investment for our space efforts. Failed to mention the lack of complete ROI from shuttle. Lack of complete ROI for shuttle is covered by The Case to save Shuttle, and On the Early Retirement of the Shuttle. Both papers are on this site.
He mentioned we needed to go beyond earth orbit, but failed to note that shuttle could help us do this---but it is in the museum.
We could get it out, but too much trouble---oh well, more money for food stamps, birth control , aid to china, etc.
